FUNAI Vice Chancellor New Appointments For 2017/18 Session- See Full Names & Portfolios

The Vice Chancellor of Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (FUNAI), Ebonyi State, Prof. Chinedum Nwajiuba has approved the appointments of some officers to man the various academic and administrative positions in the University for the coming new academic year.

This was revealed yesterday by the Vice Chancellor himself at the end of the 42nd Regular Meeting of the University Senate. The sharing of the paper containing the list of the appointees led to boisterous celebrations by the appointees, their colleagues and well-wishers. Phone calls were also freely made to some of the appointees who were not at the meeting when the list was made public.

The appointees who are seasoned academics and consummate professionals in their own right are to work in repositioning the institution to achieve its vision of becoming a global player in a fast-pace knowledge-driven 21st century. They are also to ensure that the culture of excellence and integrity and the principle of benefit with responsibility as well as the ownership philosophy which the Vice Chancellor is assiduously working to enthrone in the University are properly entrenched in their various offices, faculties, directorates, departments and units.

A cursory look at the names of the appointees reveal that some of the appointees retained their initial positions, some swapped one position for another while others were totally new professionals on the saddle.
